ugh

I am strugglin' today. First off, it's cold and rainy. I hate cold rain. Second, I just spent God knows how long trying to get my umbrella down and finally Kristen came along and rescued me. Third, trying to avoid people today has been a challenge. Fourth, I'm sick and just want to be in bed. Instead of lying in my bed like all normal people, I am at the libe working and reading Sales & Secured Transactions. This is a painful, painful day. The worst party, I have no idea how it could or would get better and have no hope of it improving, to boot. Ok, enough complaints.

The weekend was ok. Friday night was Jazz Night. I will probably not be attending Jazz Night next year. On Saturday I went to a party and that was a good time, eventhough I stayed for roughly an hour and a half. I was just a party-pooper in the complete sense of the word. After that I convinced the roommate to go play pool. Well, psycho-guy accosted our pool table at Faherty's so we went on a hunt for a different venue. That was completely unsuccessful, so we took to a night of stalking instead. I think the highlight was driving through McDonald's at 3am and after receiving cold fries (how DARE they!), I backed up to the drive through and announced, "THESE ARE GROSS!" That sent the roommate into hysterics and the McD's people back to work. Eventually we got good fries. So the phrase of the weekend is, "These are gross!"

I;m back to business this week because Friday brings the best present ever---KATHLEEN MADDEN's long awaited visit!!!!!! Buffalo: consider yourself warned!
