One more to the list...
This is going to be short. I have more work to do than I know what to do with. Sleeping, eating, and bathing have all become secondary. I informed my roommate that she is to tell me if I start grossing her out. Ok, in all seriousness, I don't I'd ever be able to give up showering, but eating and sleeping....those really have become secondary.
I felt badly today for the GM of Uno's near school. Over the weekend Tracey, Jenni and I went there for dinner as a break to studying all day in the library. Well, the waitress somehow managed to charge my credit card twice for my meal. I figured this out that day, so I called and talked to her. She said she'd call me back when it was sorted out, promising that it wouldn't be more than an hour. Well, after several hours, I went back to see the manager. The manager subsequently promised that the charge would be off my card by the next morning. Well, this afternoon I checked with my credit card company...yes, the charge...still there. Well, I drove straight there and on virtually no sleep, having eaten pretty much nothing up until that point, and being completely frustrated and stressed out, I pretty much was fit to be tied and the GM was so nice in dealing with me. So, as I'm telling him that his company had a duty to me as a customer to perform thier acts competently and non-negligently, he starts trying to get me to come back to see him or call him. I think Aleks put it best when she said I was the only person she knows who could go in, tell someone off, and have him start hitting on me! Anyway, so in the end, the charge got taken off my card, I was given a $20 gift certificate to Uno's and I walked out with the manager's number. I thought this story was blog-worthy. I hope you all are amused as I am/was.
Time to bury myself in books now.
