Mission Almost Accomplished--as always...
Well the meeting with the soccer guy was more like a lunch date, but in the end it was a lot of fun. We went to Bennigan's and spent about 15 minutes talking about actual soccer and 1.5 hours talking about other things. I'm excited to be coaching and back in the game. Maybe next year I'll join the women's league. There's still the rugby team hopes too...if only I could get Tuesdays and Thursdays off I could play. Oh well. Better luck next season.
I have two more projects to finish and I'm done with Bridge Term. Next week regular classes start up and I still haven't figured out my classes or schedule. I have decided I need to take more business law classes if I want to go in house. I think that with a background in business law, patents, and lisencing--that would be an optimal combo. We'll see. I just need to get the tech transfer office job.
Ok so one little rant then it's work time. So I went to my carrel this morning like any good law student, only to find a sleeping non-law student in the carrel. First off it scared the shit out of me--and probably her too. Oh I was pissed. I am really annoyed with non-law students in the library. Anyway, she just left my carrel and was going for the one behind me, so I informed her that if she wanted a carrel she needed a key and the carrels are only for law students. I keep hoping that one of these days they will rid the library of the sleeping non-law students...and maim those people who do not turn off their cell phone, then proceed to leave it ringing on loud.
