life & times of the completely insane

I got to work relatively early today...to get handed this wonderful assignment of printing out pictures off of this CD. Excellent use of my legal skills, right? Good work Fisher-Price Attorneys. ;) Well, this was more of a challenge than I originally thought because come to find out, my CD drive was busted. So I call tech support and the tech support dude proceeds to hit on me. Batting 1000 today people...

Eventually I figure out my drive is busted and I went to commandere another working computer. It took me a while to find an open and compatible one. So I printed out these pictures and went to my meeting w/Marge. After the meeting I picked up the prints and sorted them just like Dan wanted. Well....Ingrid brings them back to me and tells me Dan wants them labeled a certain way. So I'm in the process of this...and I have like two left to label and Dan comes in and says, "Oh while you're labeling them, write your comments on which ones you like best. Those are possible exhibits for a trial." Without any further criteria given, I wrote my comments about the pictures on little green sticky notes and handed this all back to Dan. Well, he laughed pretty hard at the fact that I took time to write little stickies out for him----he really should expect these things from me by now. Yes, one very important Rachelle printed pictures and picked out her favorites today at work. Awesome.

Well, I went home a little early lamenting the fact that the roommate wouldnt' be home to persuade to go to dinner...but, as I pulled onto our street, the roommate pulled up too! Using my suave negotiator skills (haha) I concinced her that it was in her best interest to go to Gabriel's Gate for dinner. :) LBailey came w/us and after dinner she and I went to Sbux---because really where else can you find me during finals? Following starbucks Lbailey took me home and I went up to the door. This is wehre things began to get crazy-go-nuts. So I pull out my keys...ooops my car keys. I calmly look in the other pocket of my jacket....no keys. So i figure I probably just stuck them in my purse--nope. By now I have the contents of my tote dumped all over the front porch in a frantic search for the keys. I figured this isn't really that bad because the roommate's home. Not so my friends. She went to Jasons for the night. Long story short, I had to go pick up her keys (and of COURSE I couldnt' find the apartment like any normal person...I had to get LOST first). Now I'm home, hoping to take a snow day tomorrow. Why do these things happen to me?? Anyway...the only concilatory part of this story is taht I did not in fact loooooose my keys....I'd just left them on my bed. Notch that one on the bedpost.....

I'm going to bed now. sweet dreams, friends & family.
